SEND

Introduction

Our SEN Information Report – which is part of Durham County Council’s Local Offer – provides details about how we support children and young people with Special Educational Needs in our school.

The SEN Information Report was reviewed and updated on 21st May 2018.

At St. William’s, we follow a ‘whole school approach’ and have extremely dedicated staff members, who are committed to providing for all children, regardless of their level of need. Through clear communication with families, as well as with a range of agencies, we identify and meet each child’s needs on an individual level. Through quality first teaching, staff members are highly motivated to working towards the most positive outcome for each individual child.

This SEND Information Report should be read alongside the school’s SEND Policy, the Equalities Information and Objectives and the Accessibility Plan.
